Happy Birthday S!

Met up with the clique to Timbre the day before yesterday to celebrate Sharon's belated birthday (:

We should meet up again real soon for some retail therapy!

Bought her a slice of strawberry shortcake from Canele!
And i kind of regretted not getting their macaroons! The rose flavoured one especially, gosh.

Did some catching up with each other over dinner and ordered a couple of drinks after that (:
Though the meet up was only for a short while cze most of us had to work the following day, but nevertheless it was a fun one filled with laughter throughout ;)

As for today, i went for the second round of consultation for my invisalign and guess what, i'll be officially having them on on my next visit there!
Hehe, aww totally cant wait for 1 Sep to arrive asap!
And the awesome thing? I only have to have them on for 31 weeks which is equivalent to around 8 months or so then hello straight teethhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! :P
Excited much?!?!?! Haha.

Anyhow, sad to say i wont be updating as much as before already /:
I realised ever since i started work, my life's been pretty mundane.
Everyday's the same old cycle, what's newwwww?

And i think i seriously need to search for a better paying job than my current one....

The Big 2!

Turned 20 last Sunday on the 24th of July! :D
Finally bidding goodbye to my teenage life, somehow feeling good knowing that i've officially entered adulthood.
Though i know that it's only next year when i turn 21 then it's more or less official /:
But ohwell, hello 20!!!! Hehe.
Hopefully more mature i'd say ;)

Caught this midnight movie, wasn't too bad!
It got me totally glued to the screen!

Went for supper at Mr Teh Tarik after the film, was itching for L4D2 initially but dropped the idea knowing that we got to wake up early for our breakfast buffet @ MBS the next morning.
But even so, i dint manage to wake up on time and overslept for nearly an hour -.-
So much so for sacrificing L4D for more hours of sleep....

Anyhow, went for their morning buffet @ The Rise at MBS and my oh my was it awesome!!!!!
Especially the bread and butter pudding!! :D
Am salivating just at the thought of it now, haha!

Walked around MBS, and fell in love with one of the wallets from YSL ❤
Though the Burberry one looks rly gorgeous too...
But anyhow, am coming to get you no matter what!!!! After my pay's in that is /:

Went for dinner with Grandma and family in the night :D
Though it's just a simple celebration for the day but i enjoyed it with the presence of my loved ones around me! Hehe.

And just the other day, we visited USS!

Main motive there was to conquer...BATTLESTAR GALACTICA!!!!

Proud to say we managed so, and i swear the adrenaline rush was super man! (Y)
Kinda regretted not sitting more then once knowing the fact that the queue time was less then 5minutes...
Dumb or what, lol.

Human was more frightening due to the rly steeeeeeeeep drops!
Screamed like there's no tmr, my god.
Swear Cyclone was way much better though there were a couple of 360 degrees turns here and there.

Sat the mummy ride too, another one helluva thrilling ride.
Was seated right at the front somemore!
Yelling away like one mad woman throughout, but..i'm lovin it!! :P

Accompanied Joelyn to Twister to have her fringe cut after my work sometime back last week (:

Went to shop around Tampines 1 & Tampines mall after the cut.
Was at the various counters at Metro checking out for a suitable brand of facial foam for my face.
And after ages of consideration, finally settled on the Kose facial wash (:
Thank god i dint get the Chanel one on impulse man, else i guess it would have more or less burned a huge hole in my pocket -.-

Walked around before training back all the way to the west, haha!

Anyhow, did you notice small patches of red spots on both my cheeks?! :(

It might not be exactly obvious in these photos, but when you see me in real life..
Gosh, am having serious pimple outbreaks!!! :(
I've no idea if its acne or what, but this has been on going for about roughly 2 weeks or so already!
Living with this ugly face of mine for these past 2 weeks ain't no joke!
Swear i felt so inferior whenever i see girls with flawless complexion and it gets me all green with envy!

As such, i decided to pay a visit to the skin doctor which Claris introduced to me at Paragon.
Went for consultation yesterday, and the whole damage was 139bucks!
Hopefully, i'll get to see the results i yearn for after 3weeks of completing the whole course of antibiotics!! /:

Went for a movie at PS at night with my happy pill!

Yes, LaddaLand -.-
Frightening but yet hilarious at certain parts, but of cze being the typical me, i skipped most of the scary scenes! Haha!

Ohwell, anyway now that i've started working..my life is all about work>dinner>home>sleep.
And this mundane cycle goes on and on..

Went out on a date with Elaine right after we knocked off on Wednesday! :D

Initial plan was to head down to the USS, but guess what..it suddenly incurred to me that they're only opened for the night over the weekends.
All in all it was pretty much a wasted trip :(

Graduation!!!

Had my graduation ceremony last Thursday, May 26!
And i can finally declare that i've officially graduated from NYP with a diploma!!! :D
Am overwhelmed with lotsa emotions, no words can rly describe how i actually feel right now.
I still remember how we always used to envy those graduates wearing the blue robes attending the graduation ceremony looking so smart and all.
In a blink of an eye, last Thursday was officially our turn! (Y)

Went Vivo for dinner after work sometime last week! :D

Been working with her for more then a month already, though we're working under different districts..but thank god we're still in the same office.
Or rather, both our districts are right beside each other only.
Plus, another good point is that her desk is just situated right opposite mine only (:
My toilet/lunch/camwhore/gossiping partner during work, haha!

Did i mention that eversince i started working here, my mouth just wont stop munching?!
I snack alot, and i seriously mean it.
Managed to weigh myself recently and i think i gained a kg or so? /:
Should really restrain myself from snacking as and when, i dont wna see myself turning into one fat ass in the long run.

I realised i've been more or less neglecting this space of mine eversince i stepped foot into the working industry /:
Every single time i come home after work, i dont even the least bit feel like surfing the net to be honest.
Firstly, probably cze i've been facing the computer in the office for almost the entire day.
And the thought of facing it still when i'm back home again kinda puts me of, haha!
Though it's for leisure purposes but still..

Anyways, on Mother's Day..since i thought Mom will be quite busy with the orders and all..i decided to go down and help out.
But apparently, half of the time i was more or less like a nanny instead!?
Had to takecare of this little brat over here, which was mad tiring i tell you!

Been entertaining him for nearly the whole damn afternoon.
Brought him to the library and half of the time i was literally running around the library trying to chase after him -.-
Mischievous much! Kids these days...gosh!

But no doubt, i got to admit that i'm super in loveeeeeeeeeeeee with his huge eyes and long lashes!

Officially stepped foot into the work force eversince a week back.
Am currently working with AIA as their admin together with Clarissa and Elaine sis! ❤
Totally dig working together with my girlfriends cze of the great benefits and all, hehe!
We get to bitch together, have lunch together, toilet breaks together etc (:
Though the workload is effin' crazy at times, OT and all but at the very least i've got them with me!
One for all, all for one!? Haha!

Been more or less slacking our asses off for the past three days, cze boss wasn't in town and further more he dint really assign any work for us to do -.-
Which i find it rather dumb, cze to be honest i'd rather he dock our pay and let us take leave for these 3days instead of having to stone in the office all day waiting for 6pm to arrive.

Been working hardcore everyday eversince Monday started.
Standing all day from morning 11am all the way till 10pm at night, and the only time whereby i get to rest my poor feet is during the 2hours lunch/dinner break ):
Though sometimes as and when we have a chance, we'll try to sneak off to the toilet/stairway to slack for a little while, hehe /:
And did i mention that the crowd at NEX is super pathetic?!
Even on Fridays, just when we thought the crowd will be so much better..hell no it was the sameeeee -.-

Work!

Was working for AIA as one of their promo girls for their roadshow which was held at Jurong Point last week :D
Job scope was to just distribute sweets to the passing crowd and 'invite' them to the booth to spin the wheel and complete a mini survey.
Sounds simple, but hell nooooooooooooo -.-

Initially me too, thought it was a rather easy task to accomplish however sad to say..the crowd at Jp totally suck ballz man!
Most of the passing crowd consists of cheenas/banglas/students, and since the surveys are mainly targeting those working adults/Singaporeans/PRs..the choice of people whom we get to approach is reduced to the minimum ):

But anyway, i had a mega awesome time working with Sihui and 2 other girls! (:
We had cat whiskers drawn on us on one of the days /:

Clarissa's idea, and i dont deny the fact that it somehow did attract more people to the booth.

Stayoverrrrrrr!

Finally we had our long awaited stayover @ Tiffany's! :D
We went over twice to be exact, hehe.

Visited the IT Fair on the last day together with Alvina & ❤ before heading over to Tampines.
Helped Tiffany got her stuffs from the fair since she wasn't able to come over and meet us.
And i swear to lord, i'll never ever in my entire life visit the IT fair on the f.last day anymore!
Though there were tons of cheap deals and offers going on, but no..never am i gna go there and jostle with the huge crowd and suffocate myself again -.-
Wanted to hop over to the Body Shop Sales in one of the other halls, but we decided against it for fear of the overwhelming crowd /:

Picnic

Went for a mini picnic with the both of them on one of the weekends back :D

Initial plan was to actually fly our kites @ Marina Barrage during on of the nights, however in the end it was just plainly 'all talk no action' kind of plan ):
Kinda disappointed, cze kite flying at night has been something which i've wanted to try all along..
Something different as compared to flying it during the mid day sun, ohwell..
Perhaps the next time!!

They decided that Marina Barrage was a tad too far and so we just settled for the park located just beside Boon Lay Mrt.

Was browsing through my folders the other day and i realised i've yet to post up these pictures.

Finally got the chance to meet up with Joelyn on Friday!!! :D

Hehe, been quite a while since we last met up due to exam commitments.
Accompanied her down to Twister @ Tampines 1 for her fringe cut then over to town to search for her working stuffs.

Met up with Delcia last Sunday!! :D
She popped by Granny's for a short while after her swimming lesson at Clementi.
Went down to catch up with her as well as to play with Ashlyn too! Hehe.

Getting more and more adorableeeeee.
Loving her apple hairstyle :P

And i managed to DIY my nails too!

The pink one is mine and the turquoise one belongs to Alvina.
She requested me to help her DIY her's after falling in love with mine (:
Now we both have the exact same design, sisterly nails!! Haha!

Went to the salon with Mum after that to dye our hair as well.
Chose a slightly darker shade as compared to my previous colour.
But the colour dosen't rly turn out to be the one i want, instead it seems like i'm having black hair all over again -.-
Ohwell, hopefully after a couple more washes..the rightful colour will appear!

Visited Hatched with Alvina & him on Thursday :D
Heard about the many awesome reviews about the food there and we decided to give it a try.

One thing i love about their food is that every single dish contains the ingredient EGG in it, haha.
Hence the name, Hatched.

On the day of my last paper, i headed to town to meet him for lunch at Marche! :D

Alvina joined us halfway through and we went for a little retail therapy aftermath.

Last weekend, there was a flea market @ Pit Building & we decided to pop by for a while!
And, boy was it mad crowded man!!
Was sweating even though the flea was located in an air conditioned place, awesome much!
Squeezed and pushed like there's no tomorrow, and sad to say that pretty much dampened my mood to shop any further -.-

Dropped by Shuni's stall for a quick chat after getting my stuffs (:
Super long since i last saw herrrrr!!

Will be attending another flea @ Scape tmr noon together with Tiffany & Alvina!
Pray that it'll be much better since it'll be located in an open space? Haha!

Might be settling for the telemarketing job, then probably work for the upcoming IT fair as well.

Last day

In a blink of an eye, the trip is finally coming to an end!
5days 4nights trip, and it's only during the last day whereby we actually get to shop to our heart's content.
But then again, probably the phrase "to our heart's content" shouldn't be used in this context at all.
Cze we were only given merely 6hours for our own leisure time......
And tell me honestly, how on earth is it possible to conquer 2 huge ass shopping malls within that 6hours?!?!?! It's highly impossible for god's sake!! -.-
Plus after minus-ing lunch time, we were only left with approximately 5hours or so? /:

Thus we only had sufficient time to shop at Platinum Mall, which was rather disappointing ):
I swear during that 5hours, everything was so hectic and rushing!!
Literally rushing from one level to another, gosh -.-

So while we were shopping away, Dad & Mum headed to the Flower Market (:

And they met us back at Platinum again after their date, hehe!

Anyway thank god we still managed to get our stuffs, all the apparels and whatnot :D
At least it wasn't a wasted trip afterall, haha!

Second last day

Continued our journey back to BKK with the following sight-seeing places along the way (:

Those wearing shorts/skirts which are a tad too short have to wrap a sari provided by them in order to get into the temple.
I was one of them, haha! /:

Sadly, no cameras are allowed inside..

Went to catch the famous elephant/cultural show next!

We skipped the cultural show and proceeded straight to the elephant show due to the f.huge crowd.
I swear it was mad crowded mannnnnnn, everyone was jostling to get the best seats and all.
And apparently, they still allowed people into the show when all the seats were already occupied!
Speak about inefficiency -.-

Bought bananas from the banana team to feed the elephants as well!
What an adorable looking t-shirt isn't it?! :P

Since it's the CNY period, even the elephants are clad in new year outfits!!

Thailand elephants are rly smart creatures and very well trained!! (Y)

Ended the show and left for another temple again.
I realised this tour is full of temple visitings -.-

Not rly interested in those temples, thus we went around exploring the place and came across a stall whereby you pay them 100Baht and you get to release fishes into the sea.
Haha, sounds like a totally cool idea and so we went ahead!

Releasing the fishes by pouring them via this tunnel and right into the sea!

It's actually a humongous turtleeeeee!

While roaming around the place..

Fooooooooooood, however if given a chance i'd never eat it.
Looks pretty unhygienic to me, i dont wna end up suffering a round of tummy upset after consuming it /:

Seriously, i'd rather they bring us to shopping malls instead!

Over to one of their self-claimed biggest restaurants for dinner as dusk falls.

Eyelids felt like as if they weigh a ton, super sleepy!
But thankfully we managed to get the stuffs we wanted, at least the wait was all worth it! Hee.

Continued..

Spent the third day of our trip over at Pattaya still.
To be exact it's 2 days spent at BKK, and 2days over at Pattaya.
I'd rather spend every single day in BKK to be honest, mainly cause Pattaya doesn't have much shopping districts for us shoppers and they are well famous for their nightlife, NOT shopping.............
Wasted 2days worth of time over there, but ohwell..what more can i expect since we're travelling on a tour package -.-

Anyhow, we woke up pretty early to breakfast that day.

Decided to take a stroll at the beach right after breakfast..

And can you believe that you actually have to pay before you can sit on those sun chairs?! -.-

All good things come to an end

Did i mention that today's officially the last day of my papers and i'm a free bird from now until my graduation which will prolly be during April or May?
Awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee much :D
Though i've not rly a single idea on how to spend the next remaining few months..but ohwell i'll slowly get that figured out as time goes by..
Most prolly will equip myself with a part time job?
Earn some spare cash and at the same time..kill boredom!
Gna go on a job hunt pretty soon! (:

And yes, speaking of graduation...i seriously cant believe how time flies!!
I know this sentence may sound cliche to many out there, but hey it's been 3 years already man!!!
3 f.years eversince i stepped into this poly and to be honest if you were to question me about how's my first day in this poly etc..
I can vividly tell you every single detail, swear! Haha, from the very first friend which i made to how our clique eventually got together and of cze all the crazy stuffs which we had done and been through together.
L4d sessions, skipping of lectures/tutorials, hardcore mugging sessions, talking cock with one another, camwhoring and the list goes on~

Second day was over to Pattaya!

Had breakfast and embarked on our 2 hour journey to Pattaya.

And since the journey is pretty long, we had a few pitstops in between.

And did i mention that the heat at BKK is scorching hotttttt?!
Could literally feel the heat rays beating down on my skin during mid day -.-
Thank god i didn't turn a shade darker, wait..or did i?? /:

Plus in order for us to get to the main road from our hotel, we've to take this path which is full of such clubs/pubs..
Scary yet fun ogling at those bapoks :P

Leaving for BKK tmr evening, will be celebrating my CNY there this year.

Am pretty much restraining myself from buying any mainly cze i'll be flying off soon and i rather shop till i drop over at BKK instead!

For studies wise, i've started a little on Telecoms yesterday already (:

Know what, i've this sudden urge to revamp our room!
Feel like making a trip down to Ikea to get some miscellaneous stuffs.

Been shuffling betweeen school and the shop for the past few days as it was the busy period and business was rather brisk! (:
And i can foresee money entering my pockets soon, hehe!

Caught a couple of flicks recently, but i realised i dint have it blogged out at all -.-
It kinda slipped my mind, haha.

First up was Hello Stranger!!

An extremely light hearted comedy!!
Haha, got the entire theatre roaring with laughter and all.
The only downside is the duration, and towards the ending it somehow got a tad draggy.
But nevertheless i still lovedddddd it ❤
Hehe.

Second flick was the Little Fockers!

Heard alot of reviews stating that it's a must watch movie!!
But overall to be honest, i find it average only? /:

Lastly..

Dint manage to catch this in 3D though, sucha waste!
And somehow i find Bubu cuter then Yogi! Haha.

Anyway, met up with the clique to the Esplanade earlier on to have our shots taken for the NE project.
Was there only for a short while, say 5mins? -.-
Took the shots and off we went, duper waste of time!
All the way to CityHall just for a few shots together, nicexzx.

Went to Joelyn's crib aftermath, had instant noodles instead.
Cze i'm in the process of saving up, so NO to outside food ):
Chilled and all before heading to meet him.

Oh yes and did i mention that i received my very first warning letter yesterday in entire 3years of my poly life?!?
Spoiler much, i thought i'd graduate with a clean sheet but oh well...
Just cze i dint attend 2 tutorial classes and they sent me the letter already.

Today marks the second day of a brand new semester which is also my last in this poly life of mine!
Oh, how time flies.
Though i dread school a lot but at times it does occur to me that if i'm to graduate from this poly in a few months time..i'll definitely miss attending lectures/tutorials and all!

Anyway till date, we got back two of our results and surprisingly i passed my RF! :D

We were supposed to attempt 4 questions but apparently i only attempted 3 of it and i actually passed!!
Miracle or what, though it's only a D+ but i'm thankful enough (:
Awaiting for one last result which will be announced next week instead of this!
Now that paper is a total goner for sure, hopes all dashed already!
Oh well..

AND another thing to rejoice is...i managed to win that bitch!!

It's a brand new year once again!

Spent my new year's eve afternoon at Sentosa's Underwater world!

I cant rly recall when was the last time i've been there, all i could remember was Dad bringing us there when we were very young kids.
Say, 10 years ago?? Haha.

Cant stop snapping pictures of it, and i noticed there's a pretty 4 leaf clover kind of shape on each jellyfish!

Joined the travellator for the tunnel and boy was it flooded with tons of INDIAN people!!
Felt so stuffy, smelly, squeezy and whatnot inside, for a moment i seriously hoped that i would reach the end of the tunnel soon.
Not trying to be a racist down here but the way they react, behave and communicate turned me off big time!
They literally just pushed their way through without saying 'excuse me' at all!
Communicate by screaming at the top of their voices as though the person is 1km away -.-
To be honest, they are worst off then China people!! Damn.

Anyway just managed to snap a few pictures in the tunnel only.

Anyway the actual size of the fishes inside the tunnel is 2 to 3 times the size which we see cze of the kind of glass which they use.
Scary much! This fish looks enormous to me already! Cant believe how much bigger it'll look in real life!!

Not much of a Christmas mood and New year mood this year.

Ikea fun

Visited Ikea with him and Alvina last Sunday after my facial appointment!
Main purpose there was to actually get some stuffs to decorate our room :D
And whilst shopping, we spotted tons of beautiful decorative stuffs along the way which we thought would be suitable for our room..but sadly it's way over our budget ):
Tight pockets we've got now, cze we're currently saving uppppppp!
So..might be dragging Mum and Dad down with us when we've the spare time and maybe bug them to get it for us! Hehe
Morever, Mum once suggested to revamp our room though until now it's only all talk no actions kinda thing /:

They have an amazingly huge variety of food as compared to other malls and i feel that the ratio of food to shopping outlets is 2:1? /:

And imma happy girl cze i finally found my polkadot wallet!!
The one which i couldn't get at FEP, plus they are retailing at a much cheaper price too.
Hehe and i wna go back to this particular shop, Liz Nana(if i'm not wrong)!!

It's Xmas!!

Am waiting for my piano teacher to arrive soon so in the meanwhile i figured out that since i still have some spare time to spare..i'll blog first!

So in a blink of an eye, Christmas has already ended and soon we'll be counting down to a brand new year, 2011 in like what..2days time?!?! GOD, TIME FLIES.
Till now i'm still without any plans for the countdown yet, still cracking my brains on where to head to.
Any ideas??

Anyway, spent my Christmas this year @ Vivo!
Alvina suggested a family dinner @ Marche and so we arrived earlier to shop around first before having Dad to join us during evening time after his work.

Went to join the super long Q at Marche, waited for quite a fare bit of time before it's our turn.

Been longing for their rosti for so long already!

Their crepe(foc, haha! you'll know why later on) is heavenly man, and of cze not forgetting the all time favourite: ROSTI!
Even the Q for the rosti is inevitably long man, as compared to other stalls.

Super in ❤ with the ambience there!

Anyway, there's one point of time whereby the machines there were kinda down and though they told us that the food we ordered were already punched into the card...
Guess what!! When we checked out at the cashier, to our surprise about a quarter of the food we ordered weren't charged inside!
Food like the ice cream, fondue, crepe etc.
Hahaha, spell awesome please!! :D

The hilarious thing was only Alvina noticed this among the 5 of us AND that is only the next day morning when she went through the receipt and realised it!
Hahaha, bet Marche must have made a huge loss that night though /:

Twisterrrrrr

As mentioned, i accompanied Joelyn down to Tampines 1 last week for her hair appointment @ Twister!

Say hello to her new hair colour!!
Anyway it's in a much darker tone as compared to her previous colour, and i feel this range of color tone suits her better!
Makes her look extra feminine rather then the blonde colour which she had previously :D

And thanks to her, i managed to enter the Twister spa corner for a while to relax & indulge in the oh so comfy atmosphere while she was undergoing her hair treatment. Hehe.

Watching some Magic shows being played while at the spa corner!

Might consider booking an appointment there to redye my hair when CNY is approaching (:

Merry Christmasssssssssss!

Met up with Sharon the day before Christmas eve to town to hunt for Christmas gifts and of cze for a little retail therapy as well :D

Been sucha long time since i last shopped with her too!

Accompanied her for her lunch @ FEP first before starting our massive hunt.
Went to a couple of shopping malls but sadly at the end of the day, we dint even managed to get the gifts at all -.-
We literally combed all the malls located along the stretch of Orchard road, but still to our dismay..we got nothing for our other half /:
It's sucha chore shopping for guy's presents, i swearrrrrrrrrrrrr!
I'd rather shop for woman's one cze in a way it's much cheaper and the variety is of cze way more as compared to guys, agree?

So we ended up shopping for our stuffs instead, haha!

He skipped one day of his FYP on the 21st and we went dating! :D
Hehe, headed to Marina Sq for lunch @ Yuki Yaki!!
Been sometime since we last dined in there and i kind of miss their 'cooking' of ice cream on the cold pan!
Haha, actually to be honest that's the only main highlight of the meal which attracts me whenever i'm there other then the BBq-ing of the food /:
Ate like crazy and became super bloated after the meal, damn!

Walked around and visited the Christmas bazaar for a while before heading back to Granny's place to help her with the 'tang yuan' making.

Hello holidays!!!

Thank god the 3 papers are down, like finally!!
All i've to say is that is one of the worst ever CT i've experienced in this 3 years of NYP.
I swore all was going well till the day before Telecommunications paper..i was running a slight fever and the flu bug and all started attacking me -.-
Talk about being unlucky? Damn.
After Wireless Communications paper was worst, was experiencing a major headache and i wasn't rly in the mood to mug for RF at all.

And Wireless Communications paper was a total flop, i can literally foresee a fail for that module to be honest.
But anyway all in all, i'm just gna comfort myself that it's just a f.common test!!
End year will be better, i hope.
And please, NO falling sick before/during the exam period.
The feeling just sucks big time -.-

Chocolate Fondue ❤

Alvina bought this rly pretty fondue set @ Tangs sometime back and we decided on having chocolate fondue over the weekends! :D

But we got sick of it after eating for a while, cze the sweetness is seriously over the extreme!

Alvina bought the microwaved ones and i swear it rly save us all the hassle of having to deepfry them in oil or whatsoever. Haha!

Hello December

At long last, December is finally here!
Which means, it's gna be Christmas soon! :D
One of my all time favourite festive occasion, but such a pity Singapore doesn't snow! /:
Else everything will be perfect!

Wondering how will my Christmas be like this year??
Plus we'll be having our two weeks break during that period as well, awesome much?! (:

Anyway speaking of which, we'll be having our exams two weeks from now.
Time's running out cze this time round there are no study breaks given to us which means we've to rly plan our time properly and start mugging right away!
3 core modules to take, and all of which are enough to kill our brain cells!
Especially Telecommunications, an all theory module with minimum calculation involved.
And honestly speaking, the other 2 aren't any better either ):

Went to have my fringe trimmed @ Tampines 1 with Joelyn after school last Wednesday!
My fringe was god damn long that i swear it's annoying the hell outta me!
I literally had to sweep it to the side in order to have a clearer vision of things man.
And let me recall, the last time i had my fringe cut was like...during Sep?!? /:

Dropped by the night market beside Cck interchange and bought Shark's fin soup & cheese tofu first before walking to her crib :D

And i helped to paint her nails for her 18th birthday!

Though it isn't considered much of a standard but am glad she loves it :D

Dad's 50th birthday! :D

His actual birthday was on a Sunday, however on Saturday we went to Jack's Place @ United Sq for an advanced celebration for him..just our family alone though (:
Whereas on Sunday, we went for dinner with Granny and all for Ala Carte dinner @ Lotus Garden.
They serve pretty awesome food there, lovin it!

Got home to cut 'cake' next!

We replaced cake with Ritz apple struddel instead, since Dad doesn't rly have a thing for cakes.
And since we cant rly poke the candles into it, we had to make do with some makeshift candles.
Haha.

Though he has already hit the 50s mark, but in our eyes he's forever young at heart! Hehe.

Accompanied Joelyn to town last week to search for her gift for her 18th birthday!
She wanted a new wallet for herself and so we went Paragon to have a look (:
Went into a couple of shops and after a whole lot of consideration..she finally settled for the Miu miu one.
Initially, she was still having a tough time deciding between Guess or Miu miu.
Haha but honestly speaking, both are equally gorgeous!
All in shades of either pink or purple :D
If i'm the one purchasing, bet i'd be caught in a helluva dilemma as well.

And while browsing through Miu miu's collection of wallets, i fell in love with one of their wallets too!
Pretty similar to the one Joelyn bought, but due to cash constrains i dint get it ):

Went coffeebean for their raspberry cheesecake & off to Taka!!

Met up with Joelynnnnnn after school to chill yesterday! :D

Apparently we were supposed to meet at 3 going 4 but this lady here decided to skip her 2 to 3 lecture and so we brought forward the meeting time to 2!
Got to partially thank her for skipping that lesson though cze it kind of saved me from roaming around aimlessly in school. Haha.

Roamed around Bugis St after our meal.

It's Ani's off day today and so we decided to cook lunch for ourselves instead of eating out.
Plus point is that we can save up on some cash but the downside is that we made a terrible mess in the kitchen!
The entire flooring is super oilyyyyyy, i swear!
Bet Ani had a great time mopping the floor when she's back just now /:

Went to the market earlier on with Alvina to get some of the ingredients which we needed for the simple fare.
Quail's eggs, macaroni, french fries and CP wantons.
Made do with the bean noodles which we got two weeks ago from the super mart, and added a fair share of mushrooms & quail's eggs.
Fried the french fries & wantons but we totally forgot about the macaroni.
Ohwell, probably another time..

And Delcia came over after a while!
Passed her our winter wear and some clothings for her korea trip which is in 2 weeks time.
Caught up with her and all and had dinner together after that!
Probably gna meet up with her for some shopping before she leaves for her trip! :D

Actually, i've cravings for lotsa other foods/junks as well..but no i've to restrain myself from binging too much.
Cze it's certainly not gna be doing any good to my health in the long run.

A few days ago, Mum mentioned to me that she and Dad have intentions of bringing us to Japan during Chinese New Year next year!

You bet i was overjoyed upon hearing this piece of news man!
It's Japannnnn baby! Think Hello Kitty, super cold weather, thick coats, snow, pretty apparels, etc.
Gosh, though i've been there once but it was a few years back already and i guess things have pretty much changed?
Am so looking forward, but everything isn't confirmed till the end of this month.

Long weekends

Was rather busy for these entire week that i totally had no choice but to abandon this space here.
But i'm more active on Twitter though, haha.

So anyway, this few days have been real hectic for me!
Been sleeping for only 5 hours or so for these two days, cze Deepavali is today and the shop is pretty busy with the stock taking, customers and all..
Had no choice but to head down and help mum with it.

As for school, on Wednesday there's an additional member to our class and that's none other then S!
Lucky her, her appeal to transfer to our class was granted and now she'll be with Kumar & me for the remaining weeks till the end of this semester!
Oh yes, and did i mention that there'll be no lab tests this semester?! :D
Mad happy, cze i suck big time at doing lab work eversince year 1 till now..
They'll be grading us based on our daily labwork instead, which is a plus point for me cze it's pair work!

And i finally met up with Sihui on few days back!!
Missed her like crazyyyyyy, hehe.
Caught up a little with her as usual and she passed me my belated birthday gifts.

Happy Halloween

It's halloween people!!
The time of the year whereby most people will be donned in various kinds of outfits, ranging from scary looking ones to funny looking ones etc..
Though as much as i would love to soak up in the joy of the festival, but sadly i dont rly have a habit of celebrating halloween /:

But anyway, intially when i came to know that Night Safari was holding their Halloween Horrors 2010..i swear i wanted to go soooo badly!!
Though the ticket pricing is a little on the steep side, but still i thought it was rather reasonable for afterall it's a yearly kind of event..and to me it's worth the price!
However, due to certain circumstances..we dint get to go ):
Find it kinda wasted, sigh.

Instead i went town with him on Halloween's eve!
Went to Heerens to get the 1 for 1 havaianas promotion & off the FEP for late lunch.
Black pepper chicken rice with egg!! :D
The weather wasn't rly favourable though, the rain was on and off throughout the entire day.
And as such, i wasn't exactly in the right mood to shop either.

As for today, i got some sudden inspirations to paint my nails!!

I swear it was a total chore to paint the french on my right hand!
Super unstable, spent quite sometime painting my right hand as a result.
But ohwell, i love the end result and thought it was fabbbb! (at least to me )

And went to Jp for the movie, "You Again" after that.

Super awesome film, thumbs up!

Went to visit Ashlyn that cutie pie too.

Town

Skipped the first lecture in the morning yesterday and came straight for the lab lesson at 10 instead!
Honestly, i find "Research & Presentation skills" module a total waste of time!!
I rather use that time to gain a little more sleep at home and wake up feeling a little more refreshed rather then go to the lecture hall and nod away.

Finished the lab earlier, oh wait we always never fail to end earlier.
Haha, it's supposingly a 3hour lab..however we managed to complete within 2hours or so.
Had lunch, and chilled a while in school before meeting Joelyn at town!! :D

A pity i dint rly bring much cash with me that day!
Saw many pretty stuffs but i cze of cash restraint, i dint manage to get them ):

Headed to FEP's recipe to check out their closing down sales first, that's the main motive of why we're there actually.
Haha, but sadly nothing appeals me there.
Had Chippy instead, superrrrrrrrrrrr delicious ♥

I need to cut my fringe badly, it's hindering my vision!!

Went to Cine for her frolick and we got these longggggg sweets!
The saleswoman gave us lotsa samples to try & every one of it is yummy!

Nail art

I've always loved painting my nails whenever i'm bored or when it's the weekends and i've nothing to do to kill time..
It's just like another new hobby other then the usual shopping which i always do, haha.
Whenever i come across any gorgeous nail art photos on the net, i can literally just camp there and browse through all the photos all day!
Especially those acrylic nail sets or those with super beautiful nail designs!!
Think bling blings, heart shapes, etc..

Did this set of nails @ Junying's sometime back.

At times, after browsing through those designs i'll be so tempted to draw them on my own nails!
But cze most designs require long nails and steady hands/skills..i dont fit the bill at all.
If only i dont have piano lessons then i'll be able to have longgg nails /:

Just the other day i was browsing through Sophia's nail art books and i got this sudden urge to sign up for a nail art course!!
I wna learn acquire those skills too!

TGIF

In a blink of an eye, we're already 2 weeks into the new semester!
How time flies man, soon it'll be the start of the common test already.
Darn, am totally dreading it!
I swear the modules for this semester sucks!
Tons of memory work to be done for Telecommunications & there's this module which i forgot which..there are tons of formulas and calculations to be done!
Just these two modules, i swear it's enough to kill me already! ):

Year 3 seriously sucks, enough said.

However, one thing which i've couldn't agree more is that the timetable for this semester darn slack!!
Early dismissal timings for most of the days!
By right i should be over the moon right?!
But sadly no, am not -.-
Ah whateverrrrrr!

And breathing in all the unhealthy air is making everyone around me sick!
I think sooner or later i'll be the next victim already /:

But honestly speaking, i'm actually loving the 'misty' and foggy scenery which greets me every morning.

Well, so the first week of my last semester in Nyp has pretty much passed by in a blink of an eye.
School was rather slack, probably cze it's just the first week..oh wait it's actually week 0 for us.
Cze apparently, we have to report back to school one week earlier then the year 1s & 2s.
Super retarded i feel, why cant we just start school normally like them next week!
Troublesome much!

For the past 5 days, dismissal timings for me were rly early on certain days!
Say 12 plus going 1?!?!
Been such a long time eversince i'm dismissed that early.
And supposingly today i was to be dismissed at 6, but the 4 o'clock lesson was cancelled for some reasons.
Attended my last lesson and we were dismissed within 15minutes!
All thanks to my classmates who were so great at psycho-ing our lecturer into releasing us early!
Haha.

As for tmr, am gna be meeting Joelyn for lunch @ Jp tmr! :D

Day out

School has officially started!
Like how time flies man, i still remember that faithful day which i ended attachment then in a blink of an eye..a brand new school term has commenced already! ):
Honestly speaking, i haven't had my fair share of fun yet!
Dint rly do anything interesting nor meaningful this vacations, instead i idled my time away.
Darn, am more or less beginning to regret now /:

First two days of school was..neither awesome nor bad.
Couldn't find the right word to fit into this context, but anyhow our entire clique's being separated!
And i dont like it! ):
Though Kumar & i are in the same class but Sharon was being posted to another class!!
Unlucky or what!!
Now i know why people often complain year 3 sucks!
I seriously miss those times during year 1 and 2, sigh.

Anyway, i went to meet Joelyn at Bugis after lessons yesterday.
No more Monday blues, cze i end school at 1! :D

I think it's about time to touch up my black roots already!

Met Joelyn for lunch @ Lot 1 yesterday afternoon!
Had Long John Silver, but not the combo 1 meal which i never fail to eat whenever i'm at LJS..
Tried the $4.10 meal this time round, but honestly speaking combo 1 is still the best!
Haha.

Was window shopping at Lot 1 but wasn't rly in the mood cze of my cramps!
So decided to drop by her house to slack!
I swear my cramps for yesterday was rly killing me man, popped some panadols but yet the pain still dint subside! ):

Chilled at her place, and she taught me a couple of korean verses.
Haha, i'm rly amazed at her ability to be able to read korean words & pronounce them so fluently without any professional coaching at all man!

And school's gna start on Monday already, darn.
Wonder what kind of class will i get this semester, sigh.
But on a happier note, will be meeting her again after lessons on Monday for shopping :D
