By right, i should be at my study desk now flipping through my notes doing revision for the upcoming common test which falls on the following thursday..
However, i'm just plain lazyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! /:
I chose to surf the net instead, darn.
I should seriously get my ass down to the books real soon if i wna attain a Gpa of at least 3.0 this Semester.
Motivation, come to mommy~

I'm not even in the least anxious that exams are nearing day by day, gosh.
Just what kind of student am i -.-

To the library tmr, hopefully it will help me in a way or two.
Cze there aren't many temptations in the library which will distract me.
Though most people will choose to study in the comfort of their own house, but me on the other hand prefer anywhere else except my own home.
Way too many distractions, not a good thing.

The other day, Dad brought us to Chinatown to take a look at the new year lightings &stuffs.
Fully packed with people &we were pushing like mad.
Loathe crowds, tsk!

Feeling famished, we settled down at the famous Lee Tong Kee restaurant for dinner (:

Famous for their hor fun..
Avid fan of mushrooms, hahah!

Whilst ordering their food..

Roamed round after dinner &visited the Hindu temple as well as the Chinese one.

Goodness!

&with that, we ended our trip to Chinatown.
Never am i gna step foot there again, unless neccessary /:
Hate to squeeze with people, &being short made matters even worse -.-
Practically suffocated in there, dumb.

Couple of days back, Dad was bugging us to take a picture with this flower arrangement.
Mainly cze the arrangement is beautiful, &he urged us to snap a picture with it before it withers.
Hahah, such a funny Dad i've got (:

Second day of the new year was a teeny winy bit better as compared to the first day (:

Was being dragged to visit the doctor in the morning by mum, pretty reluctant to go but what can i do ):
Since it was only the second day of the new year, i wasn't expecting alot of patients.
However, i got a shock outta my life the moment i heard that i've got to wait for two hours before i get to consult the doctor!
Total crapppppp, so i took my own sweet time &went for breakfast with mum &came back later hoping that at least it'll be my turn real soon.
But guess what, the queue number only jumped twice when i came back.
&when i mean own sweet time, i seriously mean it.

Darn, &so me like a fool waited &waited &waited for 3 whole hours before my turn.
Goodness, went in for less then 5 minutes &i'm out -.-
After taking the medication for these few days, my cough dint subside either.
Wasted 3 hours of my life /:

Went over to Granny's aftermath, sat for a while.
A couple of relatives popped by, however i left after a while.
Went over to Darl's house next, gambled a few rounds &i won only a dollar -.-
Pathetic soul, from 6 dollars plus i lost all the way to a dollar ):

Stayed for steamboat &went back at round 8 :D

Went to school as per normal on Wednesday, but at a later timing.
Skipped both lectures in the morning &arrived in school round noon for programming lab.
Presented the second part of the mini project &thank god i managed to pull through (:
Met Darl afterwhich &he dropped by my house to bainian, ha!

Caught Love Matters..
Not as fantastic though..

&i wna get well sooooooooooooooon!!
Feeling faint while walking ytd, scare the hell outta me /:

How's the first day of the new year for you guys?! (:

Awesome?

Mine was utterly boring to begin with.
Sigh, dint rly expect new year to turn out this way ):
I expected more instead, but oh well what more can i say..

Was awoken by both of my parents on the very first day, rushing me to the bathroom &prepare so that we can head over to my Granny's house asap.
Ate, slacked &as usual we'll go over &pay our respects to my Grandfather every year.

Got pretty bored aftermath as there weren't much families visiting Granny's on the first day.
Decided on going IMM, though not many shops were opened /:

Dine'd at Secret Recipe :D
Ages since i last stepped into there, ha!

Had Cheese Chocz..

Afterwhich, we roamed round &went Daiso.

We found this winter hat &tried it on.
Resembles a cancer patient to me, hahah! /:

Bought ourselves a mug each (:
Mine has a cat picture imprinted on it while Alvina has a pig imprinted on her's.
Hahah!
&i want that pink rabbit mug badly!
I swear it's rly adorable man, now i regret not buying that mug instead.
Tsk!

So anyway, we went car-washing after that.

It was Alvina's idea &she decided to drag me along with her.
How "nice".
&so, me being rly nice too dragged my Aunty along with us as well :D
As the saying goes.. One for all, all for one.
How true, hahah!

Now the car is all neat &tidy (:
Dad rly owe us a meal, hahah!

As night falls, Dad initiated to catch a midnight show.
Was caught off guard cze i was lazing round at home when i received Alvina's call asking me to go online &check the timings.
Couldn't log on to GV's website last night for god knows what reasons.
Made a trip down to Jurong Point to check out the timings, however luck wasn't on our side cze most of the tickets were selling out fast /:

Had supper at Mc Cafe instead.
&ordered Cheese cake again.
Mum says that it's a cheesy new year this 2009, ha!
Been a fan of cheese cakes lately.

As for the second day which is today, it's so much better as compared to ytd's.
Seriously, ha!

Reunion dinner night! :D

Just got home not long ago from the steamboat dinner at Granny's house (:
Scrumptious meal! Though all along every year contains the same old ingredients, ha!
But still, i love the warm feeling when everyone gathers at the table &eat together.

Just two days of holidays, duper shortttttttt!
Tmr will be spent at Granny's house, like previous years.
We're still deciding if we should head out to eat, however i guess chances are pretty slim cze most restaurants are fully booked by now ):
I still remember those years which we used to dine at Pan Pacific or Marriot on the first day of new year.
Sigh, miss it /:

Anyhow, as usual was being called down to help at the shop this morning.

Darl stayed over at my place last night, so that he can save the extra trouble of having to wake up exceptionally early &take the bus over to my place this morning.

Fiddling with my webcam last night..

Duper unglam, hahah!

Watched "wo cai" till nearing one before heading to bed.
End up, i couldn't wake up in the morning -.-
Slept for friggin 5hours, which obviously isn't enough for me at all.
Had a slight migraine in the late morning which made a turn for the worse when we're about to close shop.
How nice -.-
Took a little nap when i reached home &i'm so glad it went away after i woke up (:
Spared me the agony, ha!

Had a couple of deliveries today.
&did i mention that i dread deliveries alot?
But not now anymore, at least during the Cny period.
Cze i get to receive red packets! Jumps*
From certain customers though, ha!
Just by delivering to a few houses today earned me a few red packets in return! :D
Worth it, hahah!
Sounds so materialistic, but whatever~

Golly, fancy falling ill when Chinese New Year is approaching in like 3 days time?!
Darn, caught the flu bug somewhere &now i've a little sore throat in me too ):
Sigh, i wna get well before Monday! Pray for me people!

My internet connection these few days are getting from bad to worse!
I guess i've got to change my router real soon, at times it's rly getting on my nerves man.
No internet equals no life &ultimately it will equal to sad Andrea, get it?
Hahah.

O right, had our ICA 5 presentation today.
Last presentation before this Semester ends, i suppose? /:
Very soon, we'll no longer be Year 1 students but Year 2!
Gosh, like how time flies! Oh my, scary.
So anyhow, drew lots &we happened to be the last group to present.
Good thing? I beg to differ, i prefer to be either the third group or so to present.
It's better this way, in my opinion though. Ha!

Everything went smoothly i would say (:
As for grading wise, a D or C is perfectly fine to me.
I dont aim for higher then this, cze somehow or rather i know given my stage fright sickness i'm unable to achieve it /:

Yep, will be spending most of my time at the shop these coming days cze of the Cny period.
Tons of orders coming in, tsk!
But still, studies cant be neglected as well.
Might be making a trip down to the library to mug one of the weekends.

It's the 21st tmr, but yet i dont think i'll get to see you.
Sigh.

I've always wanted to blog a couple of nights back, however i was rly dead tired to actually switch on my laptop &lay those fingers of mine on the keyboard.

School is still the same, ever boring.
There's Common test which falls right on the 6th. (if i'm not wrong)
Which means after we come back from our New year holidays, Common test will commence!! ):
In other words, i cant rly enjoy during the Cny. Buttholeeeeee!
Even if i do, i bet i've got to mug till the wee hours before going off to my dreamland. (which i doubt i will)
Darn, wonder who's the moron who planned this schedule.
Hell you goooooo, sucker!!
Fancy planning an exam on a date which falls a few days after the new year -.-

&the date for my piano practical is out.
Lucky me, it falls on the 27/2.
Cze our exams end on the 23/2.
Which gives me 4 full days to rly get my ass down at the piano &start cracking!
No failures this time round, i'm contented with just a pass. seriously.
Shan't pin too high hopes, just in case i fall once again /:

So yep, Darl was over at my place after my piano lessons just now.
Did his soldering work, whereas i'm happily watching my Rush Hour 3.
Hahah, not that i dint offer my help..it's just that he somehow rejected it.
But i did help in the end alright, &i even burnt a strand of my fringe! ):

Caught Ponyo with love earlier on :D

Like finally! Awesome film, seriously! :D
However Darl says that this film doesn't have a story line at all, but i beg to differ!
Hahah, some parts may sound a tad too exaggerating but still it's alright on the whole.
&Ponyo is extremely adorableeeeeee, goodness.
How i wish i'm able to own a fish similar like Ponyo, hahah!
I bet i'll play with her all day long &neglect my studies, too cute to resist (:
Ohyes, &it so happened that we're in the same theatre as Jasper &Pei Qing as well.
Such a coincidence, ha!

&the timetable for the Semestral exams are offically out today!
Our very first paper will begin on the 16 of feb, which is like approximately one month from now?!
Gosh, seriously got to start bucking up now.

Was invited to my Uncle's wedding dinner ytd night :D

Congrats to the newly-weds!

O right, rushed to prepare &headed down to the dinner.
As usual, i couldn't make up my mind on exactly what clothes to wear to the dinner.
Typical girls, or is it just me? /:
Anyway, after being stuck in a dilemma for sometime..
I settled with just a simple white dress.

Arrived at 7plus 8.
Dinner was delayed, expected.

&i'm super in love with the decorations!

&since i was almost on the verge of fainting(dying of hunger), i ate the mini chocolate gift they gave us first.

Slacked/played handphone games &finally dinner time!

Pretty enthuastic bunch of people.
They can go on &on like a radio.

Getting all ready to pop the champagne..
